Visit Xpu-Ha during your Cancun vacations

Xpu-Ha is a spectacular beach that is still relatively unknown amogst tourists. If you are looking for some secluded places, then you should definitely visit it. It is more common for locals to come here, making it a very unique spot during your holidays in Cancun and the Riviera Maya

Our Mayan ancestors named it Xpu-Ha, meaning "morning dew" for it's great beauty, and luscious vegetation.

Xpu-Ha beach is definitely one of the best beaches in the Riviera Maya and you will want to be back over and over again. Xpu-Ha features some nice boutique hotels, although it does not have as much variety as Playa del Carmen for holiday accomodations.

Restaurants in Xpu-Ha Beach

Xpu-Ha features some quite amazing local restaurants, right in front of the sea, where you will be able to enjoy fresh fish tacos and ice cold beer, making it a truly great day trip from Cancun and Playa del Carmen

We particularly recommend you try Al Cielo Hotel restaurant. You will eat or dine on an amazing terrace in front of the Caribbean Sea. Also, you can come here and relax in a luxury poolside lounge, overlooking the beach. Or you can come with the family and enjoy camping for the weekend. Need we say more?

Location

Located at the heart of the Riviera Maya, in the State of Quintana Roo, in order to reach Xpu-Ha you will have to get onto Federal Route 307. It is at Km 265, between the towns of Puerto Aventuras and Akumal. It is very close to Cancun, if you are lodging there during your vacations.
